Nope nothing happen to him, I was just considering getting one with the spikey things on his comb. Mine got his bit this winter.

Put my buddy to rest today so I have had better days than today. I trust everybody is doin well and enjoying the fine spring weather, it's good to see everybody hatching and getting ready for the spring/summer breeding season.

Well my vacation from here was shorter than expected!! Things are getting to great around here thanks to the many thoughts and prayers from our family here on BYC!!! I have been losing a few small birds here lately set the traps and all I have caught is stupid cats!!! I went cross country today to release one of the cats caught last night and I pulled across a dirt bridge over the creek, let the cat out of the trap and it shot out like a speeding bullet and ran right of the bridge and that cat is the only cat that I have ever seen come close to walking on water!!! It was great!!! Hope everyone had a great day!!!

We had trouble with cats too and I had to trap them out. Through the years I have seen a lot of them dumped out here in the country, so I take them back to town!!!

Evening everyone,

Had a busy day today and we welcomed our first special friend into our home(Foster child) cute as a bugs ear for sure... Please pray for this young child(3 years) and the young family... It would be greatly appreciated...

Now onto chicken news... Anyone raise Black Giants? if so do you like them and do you find them hardy during the winter? do they over heat in the summer?
