There will be a screening of the excellent film FRESH at the Lawton Public Library, 110 SW 4th street, Lawton, OK on Saturday, March 13 at 7:00 PM. Similar to Food, Inc., only much much better. It spends less time on critiquing the problems and more on solutions and alternatives.
From the FRESH press release...
"FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision of our food and our planets future. FRESH addresses an ethos that has been sweeping the nation and is a call to action America has been waiting for."

At the end of the program, Grady Phelan of Phelan Ranch Company, third generation rancher and a recent Polyface Farm apprentice, will present a brief question and answer period about his recent experience at Joel Salatin's farm, which is one of the featured enterprises in the film. Some of you have met Grady at some of the poultry auctions.
Admission is free.
