Carla : Vista print is a great deal I am doing some big things through them. I wanted to tell you I have a very rare appenzeller gold laced Spitzhauben hen, she's a pistol and I am hatching eggs from her we will see how they look.

I will be at Blanchard but I will have to be at the job site at 6:00am and most of the day but I will show barring the sky doesn't fall on my head LOL.

Vern and I are going to try and be at Blanchard tomorrow...hope to see you all! Save us a spot! Last time we were all spread out...was kinda weird...

Vern and I went to Stillwater to the select draft horse auction today--we are BEAT but it was a blast! We saw some FINE horses today. Made me wish we had an extra stall or two in the barn!

I'm going to attempt to get the Silkie and Serama condos started tomorrow. I have to go mark the boundries for the new pens and coops. We are going to start replumbing the new house also. I think we are going to be way too busy this weekend. Luckiloy next week is going to be fairly slow.

. Yes, I plan to bring a few more hens to Blanchard. I am still trying to downsize and the EEs seem to do well at the auctions.

My last batch of EE eggs doesn't look like they are going to hatch, so I will be doing some trouble shooting on the Sportsman this weekend to make sure the fan is working and the temps are even throughout the shelves. I am going to open some eggs that I removed from the hatcher this morning and see what clues they may hold.

I didn't buy the americauna eggs, just americauna chicks (none of which survived past the first 10 days).

I just bought the button quail, maran and frizzled turken eggs. Some of the button quail are hatching tonight. I put everything in the incubator on the 21st, so the maran eggs and turken eggs are due to hatch this Sunday. I need to check the temperatures on all the trays in the incubator because very few of the eggs that were due to hatch this past week developed fully. Bunch of quitters.
