Hi and welcome. Tell us about yourself, where you are from etc.
OKcarla has Spitzhaubens. I have some Hamburgs. Not sure who has Polish in this group. I sold mine.
POOPS is the People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap.
It just a big gathering of our chicken folks on here that get together to meet eat and trade and sell chickens.
It is on May first at the KOA campgrounds just off of I-40 on Choctaw Road. It is ten miles East of Midwest City and about five miles south of Choctaw.
There will be info posts on here from time to time. We bring pot luck food for the meal, have a raffle and auction and some entertainment.

There are several cabins...I think I heard that those are all full...I will probably make reservations but that is because I get in way after check-in hours! Long drive! You just holler on here...City puts you in the list (just cuz she is the crazy list making person....very organized person (makes me wanna barf...except she is cute and her dad is a good preacher))) Holler about what you are looking for (you did that) and holler about what you might be bringing...I still gotta hatch to see what I have!

By the way..watch out....I am gonna put my little ol' ladies on the pray mission...God listens to them....

I am gone!!! For real....

Well, Okies, It has been a long day. Got up and fed all the critters, went to atwoods and bought them out of Feather Legged Chickens at a buck 59. Got me a little buff frizzle, and 2 Golden Polish, so I bought Doc the only 6 Partridge Cochins they had, and a few others that will either be Cochin or Brahmas. Dont Know just yet.

Came home and put together 3 more pens. We are trying to seperate our breeds so that we will have pure chickens of our favorites and still have yard birds. I have a brooder pen that is 6'X14' and have about 100 Duckling and chicks in it. So I will probably be bringing some of them to the sell, cause I have 100 Gallon stock tank in my living room full and incubators hatching this weekend and next week. I am over run with chicks!

My snowy Call male came up missing today. We also had a hen with the same bite or claw marks that my ducks had that I had to sew up 2 weeks ago, so we are guessing Hawk?

We are tired and trying to get monty to settle down so we can get some sleep, but it just isnt happening right now.

Hope everyone is having a good evening!

About me: 38 yrs young, no kids and prior military. I'm the proud owner of 30 some registered Boer goats that I seriously compete with (was top 5 at every ABGA show with my buck last year including Nationals). I'm a freelance photographer who shoots a lot of different stuff including livestock and my pics regularly appear in Basswest and Bass Anglers Guide. (go figure- a girl covering bass fishing- my dad would be so proud!). I have around 40 some chickens. I recently attended my first poultry show and hope to hit my next one as a participant and show photographer( they didn't have one). I rehabilitate wildlife so in most of my chicken photos you will often see a deer in the background or multiple deer. I love going to movies and sushi and cooking. I also have 3 dogs, 8 horses and 3 registered angus. Hobbies include hunting and fishing, scuba, and finding new things my goats and chickens love to snack on. Not sure what else to say except I'll be bringing cages to take home Spitzhauben hens, blue or splash Cochin hens, chocolate or khaki polish. Hope to make a lot of new friends too!

Chiclooker is the repair person for the sportsmans who keeps some parts on hand.

By the way, as someone who has never owned or desired to own pigeons, "cool pigeons" was not a very clear term. I have to say however that the American Fantails you got are pretty.
