OMG....what in the world has happened? Only 12 post since 9:15 this morning. I guess everyone is very busy today after this lovely snow.
We came home to a horrible wet and muddy mess with eggs running out the wazoo! LOL
Well now, for the rest of the story of the experience of the Biggest Loser....I stood in line for a little over 5 hours with approximately 800 obese folks (you have to be at least 100 lbs. overweight to qualify for the show)
and that certainly included me. The NBC camera folks filmed us several times and the casting people kept getting up on stage and yelling, "Show your personality, personality, personality.
And also kept telling us to be sure and no matter what happened to send in a video so they could get a good feel of who you are.
Well, my thinking is what could be better than in person, live, warm body. Little did I know at that point. LOL
We finally make it to the front of the line I started getting a little nervous.
They took us in 10 at a time and sat us around a long table with 1 casting director. You had ONE minute to tell who you are, where you were from, and your story. AND make sure you show PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY, PERSONALITY.
Yow RIGHT!! I talk fast but even I couldn't spit out the words that fast and sum up your whole life and show PERSONALITY.
In hindsight, the only thing I can think of that I could have done in that amount of time to show personality was to let off some gas and hold a blanket over the casting director's head.
Did I say they wanted you to show personality? LOL
The form that we had to fill out asked a question of ..have you ever been in an altercation and lost your temper and hit someone.
I cracked up later saying that I guess I could have stood up and hit one of them at the table.
When the time keeper said we were out of time we left the stage being told that if we were being called back for another interview they would call between 8 and 10 that night. So, as normal it was kind of hard waiting. My son-in-law pulled a very dirty trick on me. While sitting at the table my phone starts ringing and caller ID showed "private call". I started yelling, running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and yelling at everyone. THEN, I saw Mike laughing. He just about met his creator that night.
I found out that Danny from Broken Arrow that won last season sent in 8 videos and went for 2 auditions before he got on the show and the video is what got it for him. So, video here I come. I'm making a video this week and sending it in. It was quite the experience. My daughters were so disappointed cause they know how badly I want to lose this weight. I'm already working on it, have been since the 19th of January, and I could easily lose a bunch of weight and still qualify. I'm certainly not waiting on BIGGEST LOSER to help me or I will be a LOSER.
Now, where are my chickens? I should have been home and taking care of them. I had chicks hatching everywhere while I was gone. I had some Americanas hatch and they have to be the cutest chicks that I have ever hatched out. They look like chipmunks with a nut in each cheek. I love them. I have 14 dozen eggs waiting to go in the bator. I need another bator. HELP!
