P&B--the only time in a tote bag's life that it armed and dangerous is when I pin it all together for sewing...EVERY time I get stabbed by one or more from EVERY totebag I have ever made! They are so thick in the folded and doubled areas where I have to sew, so the pins aren't flat to start with. OUCH!

If you leave the eggs there long enough, and varmits don't get them, one of the turkey hens is likely to go broody and hatch them herself. I have had turkey hens sit on eggs that were so old they were stinky rotten, but since they hadn't hatched, she wasn't getting off them voluntarily.

I read a thread a few months back whereby a woman incubated & hatched out 8 chicks in her Bussom ( do they even use that word anymore ) anyway, true story you could try that !!!!!!!!!!!.

Hey everybody...this has been a strange day on here...so few posts. I guess all have been busy.

Thanks to all that have been giving encouraging words. I signed up tonight to start a walking class that is beginning in our town next Tuesday evening. There will be trainers coming from a place called Fleet Feet out of Tulsa to work with us....signed up and then found out the person named Shawn from Tulsa that got voted off of Biggest Loser last season was using this place as trainers until the grand finale last fall. Then this lady is standing there and had heard us talking and asked if she could follow me with articles about my progress. I guess she is a writer for a newspaper. Sheesh...I'm not used to this junk...I think I'll go find my chickens and hide.

Anyway, when are we going to start a list of birds wanted at POOPS and birds to sell at POOPS? I've got several odd and end birds as well as some pairs to get rid of. I'm trying to hold them until then..but I sure need the room.
