No, it was mostly a band of boys that were wild--there were some girls that were playing (poop and shavings in their long hair from rolling on the ground LOL!) but the girls would obey the simplest of redirection...a comment to just be careful was regarded with respect. The boys? it was as if nothing was ever said to them; you can tell when kids are allowed to not mind! I am just afraid that when these kids run--at top speed--all over the auction barn, that they will knock over some of our older friends...or anyone for that matter...can you imagine how a fall onto some of those ratty chicken pens would affect a person? I suppose I am more sensitive about this than other folks are since I am not very steady on my feet anymore since being hurt badly at work (the knee that the kid banged into at the auction no less). I just wish that parents would be more responsible with their kids. As I said, there were kids crawling and hiding under trucks in the parking lot in the DARK...and I didn't see a parent anywhere to speak to them at all...and I find that the scariest of all. All it would take is someone jumping in their truck to move it to let someone out of the parking lot, or moving a truck to load purchases...and you have a kid severely injured or killed. It makes me really worry,

and I am generally not a worrier!

I'm not sure. The message just said "Mille Fleur Chicks." I was wondering the same thing. I think I will send a message to the requester and find out if they can be specific. They may not care and just like the coloring.


Edited to add that after careful reveiw of the PM, I believe that they are wanting Cochins. I sent a PM and am waiting for a response.

I feel your pain. I've decided that it's time for a new truck too. I'll get another Ford, but a crew cab this time. I haven't had a truck payment in 5 years, I'm going to hate getting into that routine again. But I do like the feel of a new truck. I'm going with black this time.

Well apparently I was tired this morning. I laid across the bed to unplug my phone sometime around 8:15. Next thing I know it is 11:00, Did it really take me that long to unplug a simple phone? How is everyone else doing today?

Ok guys... here's a blanket message, hopefully for everybody who has asked & for everybody who has thought about asking.

I will hopefully bringing MFC eggs to POOPS. No guarantees. I will probably NOT have any chicks (lack of incubator coupled with lack of fertilized eggs because they haven't been plucked/trimmed yet). I'll bring what I have/what I can.

Afternoon Everyone,

Just thought I would get on and say hi real quick. It's Tuesday but feels like a Monday since it is the first day back to work. I am ready for the weekend already.

Ok so reading about hatching eggs in ones clevage kinda freaks me out. Even it I had such facilities, I would not do so.

I do not know if I will have any birds to sell at POOPS, we will see how much space I have for all the chicks I ordered. Still have not heard from the hatcheries on delivery dates and am starting to get worried.

Hopefully I will have the coloring book for POOPS finished by the end of the week. Still can not decide on the cover page. Probably have the kids vote on it.

Well better get back to work the kids will be back from PE soon.

Above is the design that has been chosen!! As you can see it will be a three color design on a green or blue 100% cotton shirt. Shirt orders will be taken from today until April 18th the pricing is listed below. Shirts will NOT have to be paid for when ordering, I will collect all money at P.O.O.P.S.
