Evening...taking advantage of the ladies having a dinner tonight and doing my communing with God witht he chickens! I moved pens around and built on another breeding area. Currently working on the nesting box for it and will attach it to the roost area tomorrow...correction...Friday. I am judging an FFA speech contest tomorrow. So is the joy of being certified to teach Ag and not doing it...they think you can judge speeches...I loves it! I ain't worth a hoot but i loves it!!! Pay is egual to skill!!!

Hey Queen those would be some awesome looking gunieas ! I bet they are expensive too.

Teach it seems to be a never ending job doesn't it,building and rebuilding and rearrangeing pens!I have learned to use the screw gun instead of hammer and nails. Makes redoing a lot easier and saves material!lol

I almost never use nails...well...unless it is with my pneumatic nailer! but those don't have heads and are used when i am glueing stuff...like nest boxes...anyways...i never use nails...cuz they don't go straight

I love messing with my stuff. It irritates my wife to no end but I think she realizes that I need if for therapy. It is that or what dad did!

Know what you mean. My wife seldom understands how I can spend so much time messing with my birds. It really is thearpy. I enjoy nothing better than just sitting watching them interact. Its my alone time with God. I think of it as just being a shepard to some of his feathered marvels!Just look at a new batch of chicks and it reminds you how awesome his powers are. Okay,I'll stop preaching before I upset someone!lol. Anyway There is an ad for baby jungle fowl, asils, and cublaya bantams in my area. I'm trying to track them down. It said only $2 each to!

Wayne, here is a picture of my mountain cur, that you asked about. He is getting up there in age now. They were established as a breed in the southern part of the country. Google mountain cur and it gives alot of info on the breed.

Nice looking dog Mr. Brick! He sure is a stocky built feller. I haven't heard of them before. We do have a pretty good following of mountain fiest here. They are usually a smallish dog used for treeing squirrels. They bob (some born that way) their tails too. I've had a couple they are nice but usually hyper dogs.

If I remember don't the spring crappie time and the catfish nesting time happen about the same time? Haveing a lake that close must be real fun.
