Hey Doodle,

Yep, they are expensive. Not alot of them in the states other than at zoos.
A guy down in Texas sells them to the zoos and exotic bird displays.
Most commoners can't afford them, me included.

Hey Chuck,

Glad things are starting to go your way.

If you brought crappie to POOPS, I'll bet you wouldn't have to take any home.

You fishing Eufala? Peaches and I are from the Broken Bow area and we fight over who caught the most fish.

Peaches and I went to pick up a couple of roosters this evening and the woman GAVE Peaches a
East Indian hen duck. Beautiful bird and was in with some Khaki Campbells but the woman insisted we
take ALL of them if we were going to take any. OK and the problem with that is??? So we took all of them.
Hey, and they were FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ducks are 4 weeks old, been carting them outside into their playpen during the day- they are getting their feathers, one of them is getting black ones in... ummm.... maybe he's not a pekin?? don't ya love 'hatchery choice'! they had escaped their inside enclosure last nite and were sitting in front of the door this morning.... they make chickens look alot less messy!

Good morning everyone
I have been reading a lot of the post, just haven't jumped in..I am still trying to get some more pens built after the great rebuild project..Still hoping to make Poops..it's only a couple of weeks..
I went to atwoods yesterday and picked up these cuties but no one knew what they were..I told the clerk not to worry about that but Friends on the BYC forum would help.
They have Breads and looks to be muffs and a crest, the pictures aren't great but maybe you can help

Poco Polo, you bird has been shipped and should arrive in Choctaw Oklahoma on May 1st. Greybear (now I know why they call him that!) picked him up from the back of my truck in the library parking lot.

I got a kick out a rooster crowing (he was very noisy this morning) in the municipal parking lot. Made me smile. I wonder what people thought.
