The threat of bad weather put a damper on the informal sale at Collinsville Saturday. Sold six (2 roosters and 4 cockerels) and bought some chicks. Buyers wanted hens, but I didn't have any to spare. I'm saving my extra girls for POOPS.
Doodle - I didn't sell your Barnevelders. You'll have your new lovelies at POOPS.
Matt - Was that you in the green hoodie? Sorry I didn't introduce myself and chat you up. DH was back at the car, without a jacket, and he was saying things like, "I'm cold. I'm going to sit in the car again. How long does this thing last? I think it's starting to rain. I don't know anybody here. Nobody's talking to me. Aren't you cold? I'm going to sit in the car again." I'm exaggerating. . . He never asked me if I was cold. Anyway, it turned into a business trip. I hope you had a successful day, and I'll be more sociable at POOPS.
I've got puddles with chickens in them. I hope we dry out by Tuesday as I've heard there's more rain expected on Wednesday. Spring in Oklahoma, gotta love it. At least it wasn't too windy.
