don't know if you're looking for advice, but I've had my Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 8 years. I LOVE it!! When this one finally dies, I'll be getting another Jeep. Big enough you can haul all kinds of crap around, stong enough to pull a trailer yet small enough you can whip into any parking spot.

Love my Jeep.

Howdy, good peoples. I have a trailer tire question for you...

I'm clueless about horse trailers, but we bought one anyway. Used at an auction. One of the tires blew out on the way to Mountain View auction this last weekend, and I figured it would be no big deal to just buy a tire somewhere.

I figured wrong.

It is a 700-15 LT.

I had never even heard of such a beast. I can't find them anywhere, used or new. Sears I can order one online, but would rather not wait.

So, any ideas? Is this something I can just switch out for a more standard size tire as long as I change them all out? If not, can someone give me a clue about where do look for them, especially in Lawton?

Hi ya Buster! Not a clue on the tire, if my DH calls anytime soon I can ask him. You might be able to call someone that deals in horse trailers, tell them the brand of the trailer ect & they may be able to advise you.

I hate that.... All tires should just be easy to find... My ford focus blows a tire when it even looks at a pot hole. You know they always have to order one and "it should be here by 5" .....
I need a trailer myself soon. Kids are getting into sheep and stuff and we do have two horse already.
Okiegirl how does the jeep do on gas??

I just called Doc. He says you can buy any tire that is 6-10 ply and 15 inch. Just change out tires not the rims. Any tire of this size will work as long as you change out all of them.
