Peaches and Doc - this is great. My mother will enjoy reading it to her "sewing group" of which the median age is 80 years old. Of course, I think some parts of this started applying to me when I hit 45

There is a clubhouse, but it is will be mighty crowded if we all try to get in there at the same time. Al has reminded everyone to bring a tarp to cover your birds and rain gear for yourself. If you have a tent or pavilion thingy to put up, all the better. But it won't rain...

Hoping for a decent day without rain, but rain or shine we will see y'all on Saturday.............be safe HUGS Vern

Then don't worry about it - bring an umbrella or something. It's not going to rain, anyway.

Hey Vern - I like your screen name! You know how these things go - the more time and money you spend on preparing for inclement weather, the less likely it is to rain...

Men in dresses! That is just terrible...I can't imagine people doing such a thing...highly irregular!

that tire should have a correlation to "regular" tires...I am going with what Doc said...get a regular type tire all the way around...that is just a high ply strong tire...how big of a trailer and what do you plan on carrying in it? if it is like a two horse or so and you don't plan on putting horses (lots of weight) you could go with regular truck tires..the extra plys and such give more strength and lessen the likelyhood that you will have a blowout

if you are planning on running lots of weight..go with those 10 ply strong tires..regular tires won't last

The main thing is to have something to cover the birds. If you have a tarp bring it.
We have a backup plan for rain including a big tent but there is a chance they won't let us put it up due to concerns about water lines and gas lines etc. . I am still working with KOA on that.
We plan to put tarps up in some of the tree areas.
I think the rain they are prediciting is for scattered storms so it is not supposed to be an all day type of rain.
But do bring an umbrella or poncho.
We are in Oklahoma so who knows what will happen.

Not sure about the Friday night cookout because we won't have the clubhouse then.
Rest assured that there are people working on these issues.
