Kept getting bigger all evening. Anyway, he was long gone by the time I got there. I had decided I wasn't going to kill him but rather catch him to have Al or Jeannie or somebody ferry him up there to you.
In her defense, it was pitch black outside and the snake was less than 2 feet from her at about stomach level. That probably would have freaked me out, too.
I'll keep my eye out for him.

Betsy - you have such beautiful birds! If I didn't abhor broody chickens so much, I'd be knocking on your door. By the way - are Showgirls broody like Silkies?

Good evening everyone. How are ya'll doing?
The Silkies and Cochin are coming to POOPS. The guineas are not. They have already been sold. I just found out this evening.
I will have a pair of white Silkies and a pair of partridge Silkies. There will also be an unknown white Silkie and red Frizzled Cochin.
They are just starting to feather out, so I'm not sure on gender.
I will also be selling out of all my quail. Andrew has decided that he no longer wants them They weren't the right breed to begin with. Originally he just said that he wanted quail and as soon as I brought home the Coturnix, he specified that he wanted Bobwhites.
I am working on getting the cages ready for tonight. I will put the older birds in their cages tonight and then move the babies in the morning. I will be leaving here as soon as I can. I am SO ready for tomorrow.

(this is my very tired self posting) We've got almost everything loaded - birds, cages, boxes for people to put chicks in, raffle donations, auction items, b/s/t items, feed, eggs from all my birds sorted and put in new little plastic 6-count egg cartons..... and I think that's it, but I'll still be loading baby chicks and ducks in the morning!

Got everything ready to go for POOPS bright & early. Bringing some standard and some bantam chickens along, and some chicks also. Got chips, cookies, water & all that. Got the HD video camera & the regular camera ready to go.
I will be shooting video and regular photos, & will post them online for all.
