Good Night All!!!

Another great time was had by all who attended the POOPS get together today. It got to be funny when someone would say "talk to the lady in the green shirt" and you would look to see and realize there were a lot of green shirts there today.

It was nice to put some more faces with screen names and see some folks we don't get to see very often. There were some really tired folks this evening, but we had a good time.

And if I missed a category of folks, I apologize.

I am tired, it has been a great day, my new birds and rabbits are taken care of for tonight and I am going to get some sleep.

Roll call for everyone who was at the KOA yesterday and went home last night. Please check in and tell us you arrived home safely.

Donnie, it was nice to meet you and thanks for describing the way your vehicle was last night - packed to the top with birds and eggs and undoubtedly an odor that will remain for a few days until the vehicle is well aired out.

You were not alone in experiencing that packed to over-flowing experience.

YOU CAN'T DO A ROLL CALL YET...............SOME OF US ARE STILL HERE! We had a great time and I still do not believe that I actually WON the duck I wanted from the raffle. This years POOPS was great and I would like to know the dates for FALL POOPS!!!! I plan on being there. BarnSwallow says hello everyone and she will be able to talk for hours once she gets back to her home computer that does NOT have access to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

There is a fantastic beekeeper's club in your area - the Northeast Oklahoma Beekeeper's Association (NEOBA) and they will be able to get you started with beekeeping and answer all your questions as you have your bees for some time. Attending monthly meetings is helpful since it is always nice to hear how "other folks" are doing things. There are several members from that club that can sell you a nucleus of bees or help you catch a swarm that you can begin your hive with.

The roll call this morning is for folks who left the KOA and went home last night. We will do another one later for those who are still packing their vehicles this morning and heading for home later today.

Jaxon had a blast playing with Austin. You are raising a fine young man. I enjoyed visiting with Aleisha regarding her love of silkies. She is a sweetheart.

Channel 35 of direct TV is a pbs tv different from the others. This one is out of Claremore, at Rogers State University. On Friday nights at 11:00 is a show on basic bee keeping. each week they present a different part of the field, I had two or three of them recorded, I'll see if i can find them. For me, that is something I have always wanted to do, but right now, my hat is the 'Coop Construction Company of Tick Holler'. (we call our 10 acres of land, tick holler )
