Steph - I don't mind mowing, but I HATE weedeating...HATE HATE! Jack helped me pick out a nice weedeater last year, but when I whine and try to use the "I'm no good at it/don't know how to use it" argument, he always says "it came with a really nice manual - you can read, you can weedeat." I thought Manuel was a Latino guy that would come weedeat for me - still waiting for Manuel to show up.

Just change the time and dont tell him...lol

If he is suppose to be there at 6 and doesnt until 7, then change the time to 7 so you wont be disappointed when he is late. It will be like he is on time...lol

I have two big blue hens that I have been wanting to despartely get some chicks out of but they won't lay at all. I have them in a separate pen now so I can monitor them and give them treats and lots of TLC but they still won't lay. I am stumped on that too.

I know this may sound crazy but give them a cup of rabbit pellets everyday.
When we gave our hens rabbit pellets, they started laying like crazy.
They ate them as well as any treat we gave them.

I am sitting in the Tulsa Bus Plant after the early morning presentation. The guys being trained (customer service techs) are touring the plant today - about 4 miles of walking along the line. I think it is really interesting seeing how a school bus is made. This plant churns out about 62 a day. If you see a school bus (or another colored "specialty" bus) with the shield-shaped IC logo on the back bumper and front grill, it was made here in Tulsa.

Next week is the Summer Games competition for Special Olympics Oklahoma in Stillwater. Oklahoma's Summer Games is the largest amateur competition in North America and will be attended by more than 7,000 athletes, their families and volunteers. (I'm just full of facts today!) Anyway, I'll be there all next week and won't be able to get on here much. But hey, I'll be staying in a dorm at an institution of higher learning...so I'll be close in spirit to all you Finals Takers!
