Smart move on J&J's was to only bring a few of waters, feeders and such so that they didn't flood it with a truckload. JS told me that what they had there last night was just a small fraction of what they had gotten. Prices for the stuff was high and steady.

You'll be able to get some at the next sale. People will realize that there will be more and prices won't be near as high. We got in on the last of some feed pans for 35 cents each and bought 20 BA chicks for 50 cents each. We bought several birds at the end of the sale for pennies on the dollar. Nice pair of Columbians. We also picked up 4 hens at $4 each that they were calling Black Stars but were Copper Manrans.

They had some automatic waters for a decent price but they will be cheaper next time too.

What I am doing SPECIAL for Peaches, Whatever she wants to do. I'm not a dumb as I look.

While on the Auctioneers stand he (Opie) was calling people names that were insulting. After having bid on a couple birds, the ticket writer asked our names. We told her, and "Opie" said, "I am just going to call you Holiday. "I said my name is XXXXXXXXX and he said, I don't care, I'm going to call you XXXXXXXXX anyway." I told him "How's about me just kicking you XXX and then we will see."

Peaches was leaning in that direction as if to go up there so I just put my arm around her waist so I could kinda hold her back. She was not a happy camper with him or his lack of respect for others.
