I love my kids and spending time with them is great but we have so much that needs to be done around here and when school lets out it is usually the first week the kids start getting bored and follow me around or im constantly running them to grandparents or friends houses. I am considering getting a pass to the water park this year, so they can go once a week. Matt will have football camps ect most of the summer so I will run him doing that & Maddie will do 4 H camps. Hopefully you can get them to work with you & take them at once instead of multiple trips.

Looks like it will be "breezy" today but hopefully the sun will come out after awhile since the temps are predicted to hit the low 80s and it is below 60 degrees right now.

Checked my brooder that the snake got into. Looks like he didn't get the genetically engineered chicks that are supposed to develop the long saddle feathers that are used for tying flies for trout fishing. Those were some gorgeous adult birds that I saw at the Fletcher auction a few months ago and I am curious to see how these chicks develop. I didn't count the quail or Americauna chicks, but obviously I am missing a few of those as a result of the snake's dinner.

Morning..gotta go back and read...wild and crazy weekend! It only gets worse! Tonight is lodge, tomorrow is FFA banquet along with first baseball practice, Wed is church, thursday is lodge, friday is expo, sat is almost normal. sunday is graduation, monday is...

two more weeks if we don't blow away! Y'all be careful inthe middle of the state sounds like it could get bad...plus be on the look out for anything that might be mine as it blows by! 40 mph sustained winds...minimum...they got all the warnings out...not a day to be a trucker!

Had a neighbor just call, she saw a bob cat over at her place...ran off in the woods before she could do anything. She tells me that explains whats happened to several of her cats and guineas over the last few days.

Any suggestions on the best way to call this critter back in? I want to get rid of it before it goes through all the neighbor's animals and decides to jump the fence to start looking for meals at my place.

I have a Question.


My cabinet was running on back up Thermostat instead of master. Does the back up just compensate for the master when it kicks off, or should this be something I should worry about? It is still holding temperature and humidity.

It is a problem that you need to fix and fix now. If your back up t stat goes kaput you will fry everything in there. Also it needs to be set at a different temp than your main one. Your main t stat should be set at 991/2 degrees on a forced air cabinet bator. Set your back up at 101 degrees. At this temp you will be able to tell if your main one is doing it's job and holding temp at the 991/2, or if your back up has taken over. At 101 you won't cook everything and you can change out your bad wafer.
