Sounds Good I am required to Buy all my poultry from NPIP Certified flock owners I will assume there both as such?

I know Carla's are. I will have to check with the other friend.

And there are several here, including the wife and I, that are certified NPIP testers.

You can't miss with a Giant cross. Good exhibition birds can be very tall and I know there will be some at Shawnee. I still need to get in touch with a friend that had standard Shamos and see if she still has some. That would be my second choice.

If Vickie came out and tested your birds she is the State Vet. and is from Piedmont. The wife is named Euteva but everyone just calls her Teva.

I saw Okarche in your location and just knew it had to be where I thought it was. I have never ran across another town with the same name.

Well it is off to do some evening chores. Be back on in a while!

Les, what all does a state vet do? What dept does Vickie work for? I am just curious as I am wondering if she would have been able to help me (disease testing/lab tests) when that awful respiratory illness swept through my flock.

Update on my hatch, I had a broody hen who lost all her eggs to a rat snake before I caught it, So when my incubator went on lockdown I set 6 of the eggs under her and she hatched one so I took the other two fromthe bator and gave them to her she seemed to be real happy about taking them in. So the end result of the maiden voyage or the Iron Hen was 3 chicks I don't know why the other eggs died so late I open them all and they looked to have died when I put them on lockdown, still happy about the results at least I know the incubator works, I'm going to make a couple adjustments to it and set the next run starting on Thur or Fri, and see how round two goes :)

She is the lady who tests your birds so you can be NPIP certified. She is a very good woman and very intelligent Vickie 405-823-0783 call her and she will pick up any dead bird you have and test it sending it off to the state lab. I do know that if you want an autopsy it cost you But vickie is a life and farm saver. also you can call Mari 405-522-6139 shes the boss lady in charge of the state

Thank you Al for the update this morning. I sure hope Stimpy is feeling better. He's such a good guy. I wonder if he can have or wants to have any visitors? We'd be happy to stop by & see him. Our prayers and thoughts are with him & Lou.

My mom had that type of surgery 9 years ago and she too had to return for repair of a rupture. I guess that's not exactly an easy area to treat nor heal easily.

Time for a smile ......

Su Song marries Lee Wong. The next year,
the Wongs have a new baby.
The nurse brings out a lovely, healthy, bouncy,
but definitely a Caucasian, WHITE baby boy.

"Congratulations," says the nurse to the new parents.
"Well Mr. Wong, what will you and Mrs. Wong name the baby?"

The puzzled father looks at his new baby boy and says,
"Well, two Wong's don't make a white,
so I think we will name him ....

Are you ready for this?

Sum Ting Wong
