I certainly will my dear, I will let him know we are pulling for him and want him back with us laughing and joking ASAP. Yeah I think the big fun is in order this weekend, I will concentrate on Business later next week, after all it is the dang summertime ain't it.

My day was good ran some errands, did 2 appraisal's, I will go to the lake on sunday. I plan to raise some cain with my boy's Teach & Monty tomorrow somewhere in this great state and it will be on then well into the evening. Going to see the Stimpster and Family maybe with the guy's and then maybe hit the auction and find a good place to belly up to the feed table. Plans are somewhat vague but promising with plenty of time for flexibility.AL

Sounds like your weekend is full of good times. Please give Stimpy our best and let him know we love him.
Oh..I forgot - please tell Teach & Monty I said "yo." Just kidding - love them too! (but of course you're my favorite, Al...)

I was gonna go back and take your silly quiz until I read this.

The Hennies were originally a hen feathered rooster like the Sebrites are but to see a true Henny now is rare.

Most of the Games originated from the Old English games and the names like the Toppys or the Hennies are the variety or bloodline of the birds. There are well over 100 varieties listed in the NPIP code selection book.

I can show ya'll an inexpensive lock to make for a trailer and unless it is loaded on another trailer it will stay put no matter where it's left.

All you need is a piece of about 6 inch ID pipe and some heavy chain with an American brand lock as they are harder to cut then the Master brands. I will describe how to do it here but this weekend I will build one and take pics as I go.

Cut the pipe about a foot long and the chain about two feet (so it can be used on any hitch) the weld the chain to the inside of the pipe near the end and then weld a single chain loop in the center of the pipe on the opposite side the chain was welded to.. Slide the pipe over the coupler with the chain pointed to the back and loop it over the back of the coupler and bring it back inside of the pipe. Snap the lock through the chain and the welded on loop. It will take a torch to get it off if the chain is heavy enough.

Also lock up the safety chains as well so they can't be hooked into a bumper and they drag a trailer away that way.

Good Quality birds have been bringing really good prices... Most prices have been pretty steady for us.. on average $8 - $12 for your average hen... Great Quality $12- $20 Roosters have been anywhere from $1.00- $8.00. Alot depending on who is there and what they are looking for. If you are wanting more for your hens, the one thing I can tell you are that Hens are selling higher when caged seperately from Roosters. Pairs and Trios sell better when we take the roosters out and sell hens by themselves. Just something to think about when caging birds to sell at Fletcher. We are starting to become a more popular place for selling. Our prices have been steady since early spring.

I am going to print out your instructions for Dean - it would seem that we need to begin adding extra protection to everything. Thanks!
