This will be our first year going to the OK show in Dec. I emailed the contact listed a long time ago to get on the mailing list, but haven't heard anything since. I'm only planning on letting the kids bring a handful of birds and I'm worried we won't get any info about registering before the show's full. Anybody know when the entry info is supposed to be out or what to do to keep from missing it?

Good morning all : Allen : I will tap you on the shoulder if I see you again and we can visit.

Gotta get motovated this morning, dragging butt and I got stuff to do.

The OSPF is a club made up of officers and directors from across the state. We usually meet about 4 times a year for show planning mainly. We only have the one show in December of each year and officers and directors help with set up , tear down, and general running of the show .

You mean its a club of all chiefs and no indians! How do they get anything done?lol Wait, isn't that called Congress!

With the national show in December, they will be needing a lot of help. You don't have to be a member to volunteer to help. Beileve me, the directorts work harder than anyone.
It is also an opportunity to be part of a network of chicken show people. SOme of these folks are National judges as well.
If you are into showing birds, it helps to be part of the network.
No arm twisiting here. I am just passing on info for those that might be interested.

Thanks, that's who I had emailed before. S/he said the catalogs were to be out in early Oct. sometime. I just didn't want to have missed something. I gave my addy and asked to be on the mailing list, so I guess I'm good.

Well, I missed the whole thing. Would have enjoyed it, too, I'm sure. I've had family here from out-of-town all week, so I've just been too busy to keep up. I miss it, but I'll be back. I've GOT to sell some birds...I realize cold weather is coming and I have to cut back. I just want to keep everything.
