The prodigal is returning again...

Got some great shots of fat on deer for you just got to get them down loaded.

Bubba got a old 6 pt that was in need of culling

Clayton got two nice old does (4.5 yrs)

Bubba also shot what his Poppy told him was a doe that turned out to be a button buck...Poppy took responsiblity

I can't get unbusy! Couple nights I got free and Shawn hollers and I have a deer hanging in the garage...first one was his oldest boy's first...nice doe. Second was his muzzle buck...nice 10. I think me and the boys are going out tomorrow before the football game. We shall see. At least I am gonna take the right gear to do it!

Hello everyone, it has been quite a day. i am glad tomorrow is Friday!
Sooner, Is that a standard partridge and was it you who bought the 2 pair from Jack in Choctaw? I have atrio of Bantams and was thinking about selling them because I don't have a pen for them with my Mille Fleur and Lavender projects. But the are so pretty and the roo is very sweet. I can wait till spring and then make up my mind. By then I'll have more pens and they will be one year old and really beautiful.

anyone know where i can fine a simple list of common poultry breeds online?

Yes mine are standard size but they didn't come from Jack, mine came from Tj'snana & papa, they are on this board but dont post much anymore. I don't have any partridge bantams......maybe you will have your mind made up in time for POOPS.

My oldest who is still just a pup has himself a flame...cute kid...another teacher kid.

Cooled off...naw...it was freaking cold this morning! Officially it was freezing but we don't count that until we gotta break water. I don't really like hunting up here until it stays cold...that way i can hang a deer for awhile in the garage! Love it! But I haven't looked at a deer with bad intentions in two years...so I am going hunting!

What do you mean by a simple list of poultry breeds, like names of the different breeds?? If that is the case you can look on here or you can get a few books from the libary or you could borrow my pocket full of poultry book.

Robin Feathersite has loads of pics of breeds and tells about them. Lot of them arfen't available here in USA. Check out Murry McMurry website. I know on their face book they even show videos of the different breeds of chicks.

Welcome back far western man! Sounds l;ike there is going to be deer stew and deer chillie this winter!

Nice bunch of chicks Sooner ,what are they out of?

Robin just wait till spring your cochins will be setting all the time!lol Thats what they do best!
