Sooner, there were some really nice RIR bantams for sale at the Shwnee show last year. Q was thinking about buying them but bought some other breeds instead.
Of course since you aren't going to be at Shawnee this year I guess you won't find any there, huh?

Wow ours too

But we "have" to be involved, so that's another reason I will only be at Shawnee one day..... oh well, I wouldn't like showing with that much competition anyway

Grace I am sure you would do very well showing in the National show.
I told our music director in August that I couldn't be at a program on that Saturday this year.
But that is the weekend of our annual Christmas program so he couldn't change it. They don't want to have the program too close to Christmas since with have other special services too.

Also, thanks for getting the info about the Harrah auction on the list.
You are doing a super job taking care of the auction list and I really appreciate it.

have you seen him in Scrooge? Incredible job on that too- and he does theatre- really gotta agree with ya!

Also in Moby Dick and a few others. He started out a shakesperean actor in Europe. Saw a show on biography channel that was quite interesting.

Another shakesperean actor in sci fi is David Tennet, he played the last Doctor Who just prior to this current one. I'm not as big a sci fi junkie as I sound, but my two favorite shows since childhood have been ST (STNG when it came out) and DW (I love old and new)

Ooh, have you seen the two of them together in the BBC's version of Hamlet? It was amazing! Very close to the text and amazing acting from both men, every little dark joke that Shakespeare wrote into it just sparkled. The only bad thing is that it is one of the few plays where old William doesn't mention chickens or quail. Very easy to watch, even if you think you're not into Shakespeare.

No I haven't, but it sounds great I'll check out the guide when I get home see if it will be coming on soon and set the DVR if it is. Anything w/ those two actors would be amazing they are so talented.

I wonder if a possum hide smells as bad as the possum that wore it? I don't think I want any possum slippers - particularly if the possum's head is on the toes.

Here is the new coop I made from my savanged material. Has a two hole nest on a platform with a door to reach them from outside.

And here are the happy EE's that will be enjoying it.

Here are the Shamos I just went to get. Five hens and a roo. They are only 4 1/2 months old! One white hen has a crossed beak so I will need to cull her out. I really like the golden laced one. They are all out of the same stock so are not true to color. The spangled one is really pretty to. I don't know if I will keep them or not. I like them but am just not set up for BIG chickens. And that they are!
