Yes it was a fabtastic bird and the White standard Malay was also a big hit and my favorite of the show, they were both owned and shown by Carl Brantley from the east coast, he really wanted them to win and they did.

I had more fun than a person should today, made some great movement and National contacts that were indespensible. Have made big plans with some of the better breeders from as far as North Carolina & west to California for this coming season. And was able to get some great birds today Thank's to Charley he's so great.

Saw all our folks and we were running and doing our thing, so cool it was I tell ya better than last year. Lunch was a pleasure and there should be some pic's surfacing soon, sorry but I just took pic's of birds silly me LOL. Gonna lay down and pass out with a big SAMICH and move birds around tomorrow before football starts hehehehe. Night all.

Buck, I hope those birds work for what you're wanting. Can't wait for updates on it!

yeah i figured you would end up with them all anyway

It was nice meeting everyone today. (now I know what you were talking about when you said "Moses"; didn't realize it was a screen name)
New additions are tucked in for the night, though I'll be back again tomorrow to pick up one more bird.

Anyone thinking about coming tomorrow, come early, in all the years I've been going, I've found the people selling birds can be really generous with discounts when they're faced with having to haul a bird home and feed it all winter. It's a great chance to get a last minute stocking stuffer.

The breeder who gave Jonah the bantam Columbian Wyandottes and white rocks is David Lefeber from Wisconsin. Apparently he has spent 10 years developing the Columbians. He was a master breeder of them in 2009. Very, very, very nice man!

Hear it from the horses mouth. We will have our auction on the 18th. We never said there wouldn't be an auction this month. It starts at 5 pm as scheduled.

Peaches, are you having one in January?

I will actually have 2 in January. The 3rd and 5 th Saturday. I believe the dates will be the 15th and the 29th.
