Okies in the BYC The Original

Morning Okies! I'm sooo looking forward to the warmer temps they promised us today. Got a horse barn to clean, horses that need groomed, a chicken coop to tidy up a bird or 2 to groom and hopefully I'll hear from my insurance co today about the damage on my truck. The deer are out in force this year. I managed to make it through the migration path in Utah during rut without a scratch but Sat night I took a hit from a suicidal doe. Unfortunately, she was successful, and she did a number on the front end of my truck. I got lucky, no hurt but feel guilty about killing the doe. Hoping the ins. will repair and not total my veh, I'm kind of attached to my old farm truck.

Good morning! I woke up smelling cookies. Is someone making cookies?

Sooner I have figured out that you have long days because you get up too early and go to bed too late.
I have a simple plan that can change that. I call it my simple plan for shorter days.
Here it is: "Go to bed earlier and sleep later"
You can also vary it a little by taking a nap.
I am brilliant I know.

I have to go Christmas shopping tomorrow. But I dont think it will be all that bad. I pretty much know what everyone wants so I should be done in 2 hours. I love it when it gets that easy.

Wow! Monty is really on his game today.
He can't be smelling cookies from my house yet. I am still in my P.J.s and my friend isn't here yet. I better get moving.
P.S. Two eggs yesterday! That is a whole dozen now, well 1/2 dozen - they are banties. We should use them to bake with.

I don't do mornings, this one I woke up w/ the same horrible headache I went to sleep with, I think maybe hot chocolate is in order to try and get rid of it. But first I need to take the sprouts out to the girls.
