whats the min ?
Had a nice time at the auction last night. I should have bid on the folding cages but I think
a MaryBeth did so thats all good.
The girls both won two chickens each. Two thanks to Michael. AnnaBell said he had the nicest
little chicken in a small cage she should have bid on... A ton of roosters. My husband Chris
finally spoke to the byc group. I think AnnaBell's chickens are getting to him now..

Good Morning Everyone. Still waiting on coffee to make.

I wanted to make it to Blanchard last night since I just had the little one and Montana, But Montana has been running a fever since friday, and I wouldn't have been much company.

Yes Maribeth, I will be there next weekend with bells on. Hopefully I will get to see all my friends. It's been a month. But we have 2 auctions this month. The 15th & 29th.

LOL the girls seem to have a way into daddy's heart and I would imagine their chickens could squeeze in there too!!!
Not sure on a minimum but asume 25 to keep them warm in travel especially this time of year!!!! Far be it for me to enable someone to order chicks...... unless they really WANTED TO!!!!! Lynn

We do have quite a few, great birds and wonderfull layers. I was looking through our grow out pens the other day and it appears we hatched almost all pullets. i didn't notice but 2 cockrells and counted over 15 pullets in black alone. The Partridge have been running about the same way.

morning guys! yep, we have the rooster chorus in the morning here- and snowball tries her darndest to chime in- now that is weird sounding in the morning- a banty cochin hen competing with the boys!

now seriously you silkie folks- what is with the caveman routine? my silkie cockeral tries to have a tug owar with the pullets by grabbing their topknot- so the are face to face - to the point my little wrytail girl runs and hides- he can't do any damage to them can he??
