We went to the Newcastle, OK auction tonight and sold some roosters and eggs, bought some silkie chicks and a blue slate turkey hen and still came home with money

Oh, and we met NoCityBoy and visited with Auctionlover and others. We had a great time as usual. I must admit, we are auction-holics. I just wish we could have fit in a few more auctions this weekend to visit with more Okies.

Evening everyone! Sounds like everyone got to have some fun at the auctions!!

Sounded kind of like the auction I went Lynn! surprizingly there are no oriental buyers at our sales, or hispanics. But we always have several buyers that sell to them to run the prices up.Any kind of good hen is automaticly set in at five dollars and they usually run them to at least 9-12 dollars.Rabbits were up a little more than usual here. But I tell you the thing to raise is goats! None sold for less than a hundred unless they were crippled or starving! even pygmys were 60-100!.

Gerald's shoulder is better, but he hurt his back last weekend moving some of the big stuff we bought at Blanchard auction last week. He's better, but he's not a spring chicken anymore. It's awful getting old

Are you going to try to go to Blanchard next weekend? I hope so, and bring Jared too!
