did you see me bid on them? I was so nervous. Sounds ridiculous but it goes so fast. Want me to slip you some cochin eggs? "Honey I don't know what happened, she just kept growing."

I see already that YOU won't be able to lead the 12 step program. You are just getting into chickens and are already "enabling others " in the aquisition of poultry they don't yet have a place to keep.

thats funny I rented a cargo van and drove from central texas to the Ok panhandle then to blanchard and I decided I brought the van now lets fill it. Had to make a stop by Carla's and then Michaels but we got it done, did I mention it was like 4 degrees.

Now that you said that I did just notice that you aren't a fellow okie. Being a texan might explain why you went around your elbow to get to your rear.

I had to go out to Hooker and pickup the king of enablers because he knew some people.

Is talking about Hooker and Pickup allowed on this site? Sorry I couldn't resist. Sleep deprived and on a chicken high.

No kidding P&B I passed on a pair of mandarin ducks recently I have been kicking myself ever since, I was being cheap. I WILL buy the next pair I see if they look as nice as the pair I passed on.

I can't think of any birds that I didn't buy and later wish I had, but there have been other things that I decided were too expensive at the time so bought a lesser grade product, then kicked myself for not getting what I wanted the first time - since I eventually got the product I wanted to begin with~ thereby spending as much as I would have originally plus whatever I paid for the "wrong" product ~ so when all was said and done, I would have saved money in the long run by getting the product I wanted to begin with.

I wish I had bid on the LF splash cochin cockerel that Rebecca got two weeks ago but I couldn't bid against her and having a bird with another BYCer is like still having it in the family.

Don't tell Peaches that you didn't bid against a fellow BYCer - she and I have done it so many times on NNs that it is now a joke and we try to discuss the situation ahead of time so we don't run the bid up unnecessarily~ provided we can agree how to split them after only one of us has bid.
