You should have seen my wife when she saw it. It was midnight after Blanchard sale and I called her out to the hen house with my most innocent little boy voice and she came in looking for something special. I get the honors at our place. Hubby calls me...he doesn't like snakes...never did. My Mom was a Science teacher so we grew up with spiders and snakes (sounds like a song). I keep a pair of limb lopers outside the hen house to do the dirty deed.

They do just fine on the raw meat and it's not a health risk, LOL I don't care to have to cook for the chickens too, that's a little overboard in my book, I would however grind or chopp it up for them, I don't mind that.

Well we missed the storms again. Got another deluge! Sure wish the rain would come slow and easy instead of in buckets. Just doesn't do as much good that way.
