You should see them go after baby mice. and huge grubs....I just thought that raw beef or pork meat might not be healthy. After all these years of having chickens and reading/research, I can still learn something new.

Just don't gather eggs in the dark and you will be fine.

Sweet dreams.

OMG OMG OMG OMG....ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Thanks I will shiver for the next few weeks when looking for eggs.

You should have seen my wife when she saw it. It was midnight after Blanchard sale and I called her out to the hen house with my most innocent little boy voice and she came in looking for something special. I pointed the flashlight at the nest box and she gave a big jump. Then about knocked me on my keester.

My arm still hurts.

They do just fine on the raw meat and it's not a health risk, LOL I don't care to have to cook for the chickens too, that's a little overboard in my book, I would however grind or chopp it up for them, I don't mind that.

I'll tell you the same thing I used to tell my troops, feelin froggy ???, then jump go ahead Jump, they never did LOL.

AL

I would sure like to be able to jump!! But if'n I do I'm liable to land in two different pieces!!

And I swear Teva can be sound asleep and I can ease outside and try to do a little puttering around.....

Turn around and she is right there giving me the evil eye!! LOL

I am careful though and would not do anything to tear up the fix the docs did and as I have tried to explain to Teva if you just get used to walking from point "A" to point"B" and that is all you ever do then that is all you will ever be able to do. Got to push just a little harder every day.

The healing process takes time...It took about a full year for me to be back in full swing when I had my lower back surgeries Had three herniated disks and two surgeries. That was ten years ago. Take it easy, do your exercises and follow doctor orders....ya Hear?

Would you use your innocent boy voice and please ask your wife to poke you in your arm where the pain is for me? Since I will be dreaming of that for atleast one night.

The docs told me that in 8 weeks the fusion should be totally healed but it will take a lot of time to get feeling back if it ever does return. And in a way having to take it easy is kinda nice. Sunday we pulled the throttle body off of a truck and cleaned it up. And when I say we I was basically supervising and Teva did the actual work.

She is actually a very good mechanic but just lacks experiance and confidence to do the work. I am glad to be teaching her too, I really enjoy doing this together.
