I don't think it is unusual for a chicken to "vomit" water, particularly if they have a full crop and you pick them up after they got a drink of water.

Don't have any ideas about the green watery poo.

You can tell if a hen has ever laid an egg by seeing if you can place at least 2 fingers between the pubic bones, since those spread out when a hen is laying. If you can only lay one finger there, the hen has never laid an egg.

Cayuse, has she had access to any decaying leaves from the rain or anything like that? i know quite often botulism symptoms are bright runny green poo- another thought is if she has just started eating the yummy greens that are coming up now, that will show as a dark green

just finished throwing together a little box for the guinea- seems after those storms the other nite, she decided she prefers sleeping in her coop, except i had moved the silkies in there:barnie so the silkies got moved into the bathroom last nite, then she could sleep in her coop, but it meant i needed to make another minicoop- poor little guinea really looked shellshocked yesterday morning

Okla,
You are correct in the actual usage of the term sport, however within the OE community the splash of most Blue varities except blue have been labled as sports for many years. I don't agree with the use of the term but it is what it is..

There are a lot of the same terms that mean different things depending on the surroundings. Sport must be one of them, which is good to know. I remember when I moved from the missile defense industry into the pollution control industry. I learned that the term "PCBs," which had always meant printed circuit boards, now meant something totally different (polychlorinated biphenyls). It's nice to know that some terms - like CYA and KMA are the two I remember being widely used in both industries - stayed the same.

am I going to buy chickens?

That is great info, I will have to find her pelvic bone, and a few other hens I am curious about. You know I'm not sure if I have seen her at the feed bucket. I will have to see if she is eating. Also we haven't had any rain so no rotten leaves but possibly new green grass
