Should I say that Grace hasn't touched the ground for a while.

Ah we are so happy for her!!! Too bad she has to give up her chickens! Tell her that I send my best wishes!

I don't think she will ever "give up" her chickens but sometimes it is necessary to shift priorities for a time.
Grace has learned much from raising poultry and from all of you. I want to thank the many friends on BYC and I am sure she will be checking in from time to time. There is just so much on her mind now. She is running faster now than she does during the week before the county fair. (and anyone that has ever tried to keep up with her the week before the fair knows what I am talking about)

This is the third time for me and I thought I would do fine but when I think "my baby girl" is getting married I think it hit me.
If the young man wasn't so special I don't think he would have stood a chance with me but he is just that. Special

Just cuz she acts all grown-up doesn't mean she has to be all grown-up! I say we stop her until she is like 50! maybe 30?...25...heck...I guess if she really has her mind set...but I think he needs to meet me, Al, MOnty, and a couple others to make sure we approve! Sooner and CIty don't count cuz they will just cry and be all happy and tell us to be nice...

All kidding aside that is great to hear! My wife never did say yes when I asked her to marry me she just said give me that and took the ring.
