I have something I would like to share copied from another forum poster!!! I found it very well worth trying!!!! Lynn

Sometimes we come home from work and, having given our best at the office or plant, drop our guard and release the gripes and grouchiness that built up during the day. We dump it all on those who are most important to us, and on whom we have the most influence.

So when I step in the door, Lord, spruce up my attitudes, give my smile a big lift, light up my eyes with desire to work out my little heart for my spouse and kids. Through my own front door lies the biggest opportunity of a lifetime!

Greybear: I got did get some Black Leghorn eggs.....no more info on them than that

. Hopefully they'll hatch well....and I won't need all of them....I just want a trio or a quad of so. I'll let y'all know when they start hatching. Just got a 100% hatch last night from my eggs, 9 sumatra, 2 Javan, and 4- Cochin...Mutt....Mutt....and an on purpose Mutt (A silkie roo on a standard size hen....chick looks just like a silkie chick but bigger...

it'll get the feathering). Have another 18 or so in the next 2 days.

Banjo: Definitely!! We're really excited about the Coronation (were those eggs splits or pures?) and the Javans are gorgeous birds, the roo is much bigger already.

That is part of her scheme....she did the same thing to me when we met....I thought she was sweet and al that and then things went fuzzy and I was married and she didn't like fishing anymore! She started giving orders about cleaning stuff up and that some of my habits were nasty!

I do have some neat kids...sometimes we lock the doors and move but they always find us

SWEET!!!! Hey i would also be interested in some of the Sumatrs and Black Javas if you or Joe have extra chicks!!! Also FYI I only do Large fowl, I do love the bantums but have decided not to go back into them!!! I sell all my extra eggs for eating and prefer to sell my customers large eggs!!! Thanks, Lynn !!!!

My granddaughter actually got in trouble for saying an egg comes from a chicken's butt. And I really think the teacher was afraid to ask where bacon and beef comes from. Teacher wanted the kids to know these things came from the store but my little sweetie changed her lesson plan. LOL Double LOL Ask her where milk comes from, her nana taught her that as she has watched Teva milk goats.

I volunteered to come up and talk to the kids about food production but the school didn't think that was proper.
