Thanks Nana- some of the oldtime cures are really effective, i've heard of using sugar for prolapses too- and of course flour to stop bleeding after trimming a nail too close- how did you round the edges of the boards? really need to look at how i have it set up- don't want any of them to get more foot issues- and the way the shuffle around for 'their' spot! worse than toddlers!

Help MJ raise her hand when those cochins come around. Didn't end up going but now that I am just sitting here while hubby is turkey hunting, kind of wishing I would have.

MJ didn't need any help raising her hand. She did just fine in the aquisition of her cochin incubator.

We left Blanchard before it was over. We got there about 7:30 and they were still selling baby chicks. They didn't start selling grown chickens until about 8:15 and still had more than a dozen cages of birds/rabbits to sell when we left out of there about 11:00.

Laughed and visited with AL, Gerald, Carla, MJ, UpCdazy, Michael D, Buster, OldMotherHen, NoCityBoy, OKracefan, modernman, Muesky, Carl and Stephanie, and waved in the parking lot to YonderOak (both Elle and Bob). Jerry was of course working the auction and tried to convince me that I needed some more rabbits - NOT!

Pleased that I didn't buy anything that needs to be fed
