I wonder how long it will take for this 2 feet of snow to melt. We will surely be in a flood watch then. I think Missouri is just a big rock with a little dirt sprinkled on it .... the rain and water has nothing to soak it up, so it stands. Mud puddles everywhere!

Good morning everyone. Well after making it through all the last storm and this one without losing power due to down power lines apparently someone has hit a power pole in our area so og&e has the power off to do some repairs. Not a great time to be 16 days into a hatch... Can anyone tell me how long the eggs can go at below the proper temp before they die? And how cold can they get? Temp is at 82 now.

I would first wrap your incubator with any blankets you have to keep the temp as warm as possible. I lost power in my bator during the summer for an undertermind amount of time & still had a good hatch. I wouldn't give up on them.​

We only ended up with about 4inches maybe a little more, we have worked real hard to get our land level so we do not have a lot of puddles, and hardly any mud..
