I have to say at least it isn't 30 below! My pens are still a mess but it's getting better for now until the rain comes this weekend.

What are you doing this weekend???

I am planning on going to Fletcher to see Roy & the Bubba boy's on Saturday, maybe rustle up something exciting to do on Sunday, Maybe take Laura & Alyssa to dinner or something, I dunno.

Good morning everyone, its going to be another nice day. I ordered 100 cornish x chicks yesterday and set 2dz eggs in the bator. Also the last of the first 2 dz finished hatching, I got 21 out of 24.

Great hatch rate!

So will you raise the cornish X and put them in your freezer or get them up to butcher size and sell them somewhere?

The problem: There's a box with a hole at each end, and there's a rabbit in the box. The rabbit sticks his head out of the hole in one end, and a minute later he sticks it out the other end. Half a minute later, his head appears at the opposite end, a fourth of a minute later it appears at the end opposite to that one, an eighth of a minute later, etc., etc. How long will it take before the rabbit sticks its head out of both ends of the box at the same time?

In theory, two minutes.

In practice, no answer is possible unless you split hares.

I've decided to break down and give a batch of these a try. I'll probably order a batch of 25 from Ideal this weekend (don't tell the people in the Meat Bird forum... I'd never live it down), then follow that with another batch of Freedom Rangers from JM Hatchery (my first batch was a dismal failure, due to poor management probably).
