Had a good but tiring time at the Pryor show and sale yesterday. My birds did well in the show--finally entered really show worthy birds in the standard colors--but there was very little competition. The best part of the whole thing was getting to spend time with BYCers. Enjoyed visiting with Carah and Maddie, SplitSocket, Bill and TJ, Tara and JuneBug. Finally got to spend some time talking and walking around with Maddie, and now I KNOW why everyone is so crazy about her! I didn't, however, get to see how her birds did; by that time I was so tired I was nearly oblivious to everything. I might still be there trying to coop out and load my sale birds that didn't sell if Cara, Maddie, and Tara hadn't appeared beside me pitching in to get it all done! I don't know how to thank you three!

Sounds like the Pryor show was fun and that as usual - BYC folks pitch in to help when needed.

Wish I could have visited with TJ's NaNa and Bill. It has been too long since they have posted and I miss them.

Betsy it is alway great gettin to visit with you!! Madison did okay she had a 1st, (2) 2nds, (2) 5th's. I am glad we were able to help you get everything loaded! Madison loves showing her birds so I am sure that you & she got to visit alot if she was able to get over her shyness.

We had a great time last night at the LAST CEMENT POULTRY AUCTION. I'll surely miss that place.

We had the pleasure of visiting with many BYC Okies there, and met one of our newer BYC Okies, DJ (I can't remember what he said his screen name is)

I think with very little encouragement, we'll have yet another full-fledged chicken and auction addict! He even lives somewhere near Cement, so surely we'll soon see him attending the Fletcher auctions and the upcoming POOPS celebration!

Glad to hear that they are doing well. Sounds like NaNa is still being challenged to tell TJ "no more than ___" on the quantity of birds he shows.
