The closest fire to me was about three miles or so. Still too close. There were three different fires in this area and I just heard about 40 homes destroyed.

Going to Mary's Swap meet in the morning. Jaxon just came across the street to tell me he is spending the night with his dad - but be sure to wake him up so he can go to Mary's in the morning. He saw me loading old hens and roos into cages and asked me where they were going. Jaxon LOVES to walk around Mary's.

GotGame - I saw where you were going to Mary's in the morning before heading South to Durant. Hope I get a chance to meet you - I will be hanging around Michael Daugherty's birds for a little while.

We lived in San Diego for 8 years and were there during the bad fires in 2003 - so scarry! I wasn't able to sleep much last night with the fires and earthquake on my mind. I just heard (indirectly from my good friend in Tokyo (indirectly) - she and her family are all o.k. She is a nurse and her dad is a doctor - very busy right now. Still haven't heard from friends in Sendai.

Good Morning

Wouldnt you know it. I struggled all week with going to bed, going to sleep and getting up early.
Its a Saturday and I was up before roosters started crowing... Hate when this happens.

Got a couple guys going to be here in about 30 minutes to russle up some bulls so better
get going. Hopefully wont take all day. Hope to be able to make it to Blanchard tonite.
