This is the Offficial list for donatations for the P.O.O.P.S. Raffle.
yippiechickie.gif

The way the raffle works is that you can put your raffle tickets in a box for only the items you are interested in winning. For instance, if you want to try and win a painting then you put tickets in the box for the painting.
This way, if you win, you will win something you want.
Since we are doing the raffle this way, things for kids and adults will be in the same raffle.
I want to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to the raffle so far. I have received word of several items for the raffle, but we still need lots and lots more stuff.
If you have something you want to part with keep us in mind and use it for a donation item
If you have something to donate, please PM me with the information.

Here are some items being donated.
Six Hen aprons, egg basket, hatching eggs, Rooster and chicken figurines. paintings, oriental tray, six 8 oz cage cups, chicken pictures, fishing poles.

Okay, I have a strange request. I need to borrow a duck.

It's for a video shoot to be shown at this year's Special Olympics Oklahoma Opening Ceremonies. The theme is Super Heroes of Special Olympics, and the point is that everyone there - the athletes, volunteers, parents, coaches, siblings, teachers, etc. - is a Super Hero. Some of the Super Powers are Courage and Determination, and we're shooting a couple of light, humorous videos to illustrate these powers. So Captain Courage - who is very afraid of water - sees his friend Quackers alone in the pool - away from his other duck friends. Captain Courage must go into the water to "save" Quackers, but he must overcome his fear of the water. We're using a duck because it obviously doesn't need to be saved, and we don't want to alarm the audience by creating any scenario which appears that something may truly be in danger.

The duck would be in the pool for maybe 10-20 minutes while we shoot it from different angles, etc. The duck will not be in the pool when Captain Courage finally gets up the courage to jump in from the diving board - we don't want the Big Splash to scare it. The final scene with the duck is when Captain Courage is holding it...maybe setting it down to waddle safely away into the grass.

So I need a duck. Anybody have a budding video star to donate for one day? Can be a duckling or grown, but would like one tame enough to be able to carry, put in and take out of the pool, etc. - maybe one that has been trained to come to humans for food...

Anyone, anyone?

Thanks PnB, I'll have to check that out and do the math. McMurry Hatchery is selling egg cartons for considerably less, so the free shipping would have to offset that.
