Al, with that "parrot on the shoulder comment," I am afraid now that you have a camera in my living room, since I actually do have a 2 week old specked sussex chick on my shoulder as I type. She was having trouble keeping her legs under her the last couple of days and was getting trampled by the other chicks, so I brought her inside. I wasn't going to say anything because she doesn't seem to be having any neurological problems - just weak legs all of a sudden. But since I isolated her and introduced her to boiled eggs, vinegar water and TV, she has rallied. She is now on my shoulder, and she said to tell you "Aarrggghhh!!!" Her legs seem to be steadier and if she seems to still be so improved in the next couple of days I'll reintroduce her into the brooder.
