Donnie - The Sussex are doing great. I am pretty sure it's four girls and eight boys. Maybe it's five and seven. One has started to develop wattles, but there's no color in them, at least not the strawberry red I'm seeing in the others.
Teach - We have 8 classes a day so that we can make up our snow days. That means that one class has to meet twice each day, which isn't so good for kids who skip lunch. On Friday I bring two crock pots with chili, stew, spaghetti, or whatever the repeat class has asked for. We eat during our duplicate class period and then get back to work. It helps everyone make it through the week. I am turning inside out by 8th period, so it's not just for the students. Today I brought fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. We ran out of parmesan cheese. Two girls refused to eat the chicken when they found out it was from my freezer, which gets filled by me from my meat pens. The football players let them be picky and took seconds, and there was much rejoicing.
