IN all the years that I have lived here, I have never seen the road grated from snow. We have always had to do our own with the folks doing it with tractors. We are lucky that they sand the hill we have to slide down on the paved road.

Haven't heard the weather report for here but when I ran in to the store they were spraying deicer on the highway so it must be going to do something. They take fairy good care of the roads here. Of course people still can't drive on only a couple inches here!lol.

They would die if they had what you guys have! Of course they have to care for the roads because there arte no dirt roads here so they slick up pretty quick. Thats the truth, you can drive as far back in booneys as you can and the road will be paved. May be only one lane but its paved!

Chickens are still doing fair on eggs for it to be so cold. I worked on cutting down some wire to make more pens for putting up broodys.

Oh my ... sorry to hear that you're stranded at home with no water. That's got to be tough on you with the little ones.

Thankfully you still have electricity. Stay safe and warm. I hope your road gets cleared soon and your pipes thaw soon too.

Were out in Tuttle are you? I am 1/2 mile of County Line on CR1270 in Grady County. County did do 1 pass witha grader on our road yesterday but that has been in it. Blanchard and McClaiin County take care of County Line and it not been touched, HWY 76 had been graded but that was it.

Do you know how HWY 37 is towards TriCity?

Sorry to hear about the water. We have been lucky so far on the pipes.

There hasn't been much going on here since the last time I was on. Is anybody else running out of things to do? Im so looking forward to spring when I can start gardening again. Are there any gardeners here?

I am try my hand at it this year. Might as well do something with the land out here.

I like to garden...first few years did real well..then I started having to be gone for extended teacher things and the wife and kids don't do so well at keeping it watered so aboutthe time I should have been picking it would die...this year looks like a busy summer with running around so I won't this year..but I want to put in raised beds in the backyard...

I am hoping to be able to remove some heatlamps today...the show lambs really need them.

I love to garden. I have sucess mostly with flowers and herbs. Oklahoma soil and weather makes vegetable gardening hard for me. I use good compost, with mini horse manure, but this year I'll have chicken poo to add to it!

Hi Yall, I made it to work and back! Dakota volunteered to do chores(wonder what that will cost me?) he is about done, It is cold here but thankfully the wind has died down, still have lots of snow!!!! Wife made it to work, hate her having to close in weather like this and getting home after dark. I put 51 eggs in the top tray of the incubator this evening! We will see what happens, it is almost back up to 99 1/2 degrees so will keep an eye on it, any suggestions!!! Lynn

I garden but this year I think I am putting most of my 1/4 acre garden into pumpkins and a few watermellons, a few tomatoes and peppers and maybe a few other things but not much. I just don't have time to tend it and work, we will see how it goes and maybe next year do more!!! Lynn
