Yes Coral the Fletcher Motel is very seedy, Most of there occupancy's are Latino construction workers and Long haul truckers who kinda almost live there, it isn't real clean so I just thought folks would want to know.

Carah : I haven't set a time quite yet for it, and I am still working out the details. I want to do enough birds so folks can have a chance to see it from several different technics, I would like to do an Emril live kind of thing that might make it fun. I have a big dbl sink countertop that I can pipe water to and that should be great along with some neat equipment that Charley & Jim have. We may do 10 or 15 birds but not really sure yet, we are trying to have a few Cornish X meat birds there along with some other breeds so folks can see the difference from a RIR & another dual purpose birds. The Demonstration will cover a few different areas and a question and answer period. Whatever we sell the birds for the proceeds will go to the POOPS fund.

Will there be a list of folks that want the freshly dressed bird? I want one!

I am hopeless! I got 3 more chicks AGAIN!

I figure I have to clean the brooder anyway and the older chicks are looking to be 3 or 4 roos out of 5 chicks, so we really wanted to give the man that gave us our girls, 2 hens. Sooooooo,

They are cute though. Think I have a coupld of sex links and maybe a brown leghorn? They were from the assorted pullets at atwoods. I went to the one in Sand Springs this time!

Here they are: (if you know what breed that would be great!)

I am not sure yet how best to do it, because there may be alot of folks who want one and we don't want to have do too many and take up too much time. I would like to if we can do thing's like several chickens, a turkey, a Silkie, and a few quail. Now if some folks want one of them like yourself I could take some consignments and then close it when we get X amount of birds and buyers, Not sure yet but I am open to suggestions.

Thank's Shooter................... I sometimes use the heat sink Jar to regulate any unforseen temp swings when I first set it up and tested it. I no longer use it because it does really well with temp's and humidity. I will have to look out at my shop to see if I have any ones that will work in stock, I keep several dozen types & styles for my Business and may have 1 or 2 hold back's.

hey that sounds great i really hadnt thought about hatching any eggs but this place is addicting

Yeah I know, when I wanted to start hatching my idea was to try and get my DW involved in some part of the chicken process and the hatching deal seemed to be a good fit. It has since worked out great and she loves doteing over the new chicks, and since the incubator had to be in the house I thought she might like a nice looking one with a HD hatching window LOL. I am going to switch the thermostat system over to a wafer with a back-up wafer, as soon as this current batch is done brewing and before the next batch of egg's.
