Actually, he finally told me yesterday that he guesses he'd better get it all cut off because the guys at work are even giving him a hard time about it. That hairy face is also hazardous to his health because he has to wear a respirator when doing some of the work he does on the aircraft, and he can't get the respirator to properly seal. I think it's that real reason he's agreed to cut it off. He HAS TO HAVE A CLEAN FACE for the respirator or he could get written up for a major violation.
I almost decided to go to the Guy Rose auction this morning which would be quite a drive North. I'd love to see what they have there, and I hear that they sell hay at noon.

Yes you are right about the respirator seal, while in the military if your face isn't clean shaven your Gas mask will not seal.
