GotGame - the birds need a ride from GracefulBantams in Durant to Poultryand Bees in OKC. Smfamf is the final owner and will pick them up from Poultryand bees.

Thank you for clearing that up. I live between Wellston and Harrah on 102, I will be going to the okla/texas border saturday morning, and I could swing over to durant and pick up the birds and bring back with me if it would help. I however would need to know asap if I need to do it, so I can make plans and figure out the times, etc....

Grace hasn't made it to the computer this morning but we will be at the Durant show on Friday(for setup) and Saturday(show day). I will be there most of the day. (Grace may be in and out)
We will have the birds ready to travel. I will get a box ready for them so all you should have to do is pick them up from the show. Hope this all makes sense. By the way....Thanks for your willingness to help.

Teach, You made me laugh, and I didn't think that was possible today! Thanks!

Yeah, we learned how to make sushi from watching grizzly bears when we had our gold stake up on the Klondike! Nothing beats a mouthful of Salmon or trout straight out of of a cold river.

Sorry i have been MIA. Sickness, computer problems, household repairs and basketball every night have all combined to give me a bad case of the grumblies this week.

Ok so I guess I cant get any more angry as what just happened to me. I just sold all my silkies so I walk outside to cage them up I notice white feathers everywhere around the coop. Then I see a dead silkie hen with her head missin I expect to see a Skunk or racooon in the pen so I look around and dont see anything. I open up the door and I get attacked by a hawk. Its one thing to do what you do naturally and claim a chicken from my yard. I completely understand that. But you DO NOT and I mean DO NOT touch me, my kids or my family I dont care who or what you are period end of story. I am gonna close with that being said. Good to see my day go straight downhill. Thank goodness I had 2 shirts on.

yes, I am getting the uption up to look for that Round-To-It, which will probably be the day robin walks in with a gander then I normally will start working on the coop for the gooses, for instance, https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/41950_014_hen_waiting_in_temp_coop.jpg
Here is one of our first hens waiting patiently for me to get the coop finished, when i took it, the coop looked like this:

you can see the trap door, were they hopped down to the ramp that led to the run.
didn't know we were gonna get beyond 10 chickens at the time.

actually i am hoping to come home from poops with one- unless i can find one sooner- i feel so sorry for her standing looking lonesome!! is there any breed of goose that you can determine sex as a chick?

i guess in a case like that, you still can't legally deal with the attacker?? better put some peroxide and neosporin on those punctures!
