Had two hens hatch off today so now my brooder box has 62 chicks in it! A great variety and all colors!. And one is my first pycheon chick!. Really proud of it,and it has a lump ontop of its head so hopefully that means it will have the needed crest! At least now I know the pair is fertile. I have several more of their eggs set.Its hard to pick out which breed I like the best. In the chick stage they are all full of cuteness!
Wonderful weather here. Its still nice outside. I got some radishes, lettuce, green onion sets ,carrots planted today.
got to band several new baby pigeons today. I have 12 pairs nesting now of the rollers so the babys are starting to really come along. Sorted out my Brunner pouters the other day and had 7 extra birds. And they were all males! No wonder they weren't setting good. Too much bickering. I removed the males and will take them to the next auction. Hope everyone had a nice weekend,we sure did.

well I figured from all the talk I see about NN there would be someone that wanted that hen, but I dont have a problem hanging onto her...
