that little golden rooster your son did some showing with is awesome...I was gonna buy that golden sebright hen that mike had runnin loose but he said you beat me to it, lol...I thought she was a pretty nice hen

o i love rotts , every rott that ive had they have been smart as a whip but man can they eat you out of house and home lol

Rotts are the only dogs we get anymore. It took me forever to convince Carl to get a rott. But after the first one and him seeing how they are with kids and in general how intellegent they are, he has decided that is the only breed we will ever get.

Yep, we went to Mike's to pick up some Brown Reds and she ran by me. I was determined she was coming home with me. We had the hardest time catching her.

That little rooster throws nice babies, as well as the female we have. I will be putting my females under my silver rooster later to get some silver hens with better type.

I know it, I tried to catch her myself, I figured she was one of yours til mike said different. I would like to find at least one golden sebright hen to put with this rooster...

Well I dont have any to spare. That hen died within the week of bringing her home from Mike's. I dont know it my other hens were mean and wouldnt let her eat or drink or what happened. So I have 3 hens I am breeding from. We probably wont be selling any Golden chicks this year. I have got to add more hens for breeding.

I am hoping to raise pheasant chicks from my own birds this year, since I acquired a number of hens last fall. I might be interested in some of the YG chicks if the price is within my range

They do their jobs very well. I couldnt ask for better gaurd dogs for my birds or my family. They are very even tempered and trained more as a family pet so they dont bother people that come over, except for attention. The only time they show aggression is if we feel threatened or we arent home and someone new shows up. The only quirk they have is they do not like people to walk in the yard. You can pull into the driveway and get out of your vehicle and everything is fine, but if you park on the side of the road and try to walk into the yard we have to tell them its ok otherwise they will meet you in the front yard growling.

too bad, she was pretty....I will find one, no big deal...here is the rooster I am speaking of, crys saw a few pictures of buff sebrights and fell in love, when I saw him I snatched him up, lol...I know his type leaves a lot to be desired but gotta start somewhere...
