Today a little partridge cochin chick hatched under my broody partridge pullet Louise!
She has been sitting on her eggs for forever it seems. I went to check if her sister Thelma had layed another egg in her nest, (I'd marked Louise's eggs with an X). I now have him/her(the chick) in the brooder with 9, 1 week old mille fleur cochin chicks. He is so tiny compared to them but he fit right in the middle and they didn't even notice. I was getting worried that I'd never get any partridge chicks.
