This is the way their matings go:

Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black , 25% Splash


Blue X Splash = 50% Blue , 50% Splash


Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black


Black X Black = 100% Black

Splash X Splash = 100% Splash

Splash X Black= 100% Blue

The only way to get 100% Blue, is to breed Black X Splash.

Hi! Our family is a brand new egg to BYC. We live in central Oklahoma and are ready to join the rest of the flock! We would love any and all tips and suggestions. We want to have our flock be a 4-H project for our 13 and 6 year old daughters. We have five acres along with horses, dogs and a cat. Our wish is to have good dual purpose docile chickens.
