Not sure when my next trip will be, I know for POOPS but with soccer & grandma things are kinda tight on the weekends for now. I think her last game is on May 15th so I know it won't be before then.

Just whenever... I can learn and teach you when you are ready.

Are you ready for another long night?....LOL

I think I have learned more than I thought, I was asking her tonight about the pectin and sugar and lemon juice... weird, but I had it all right.

The only thing is she doesnt and wont can certain veggies, for fear of botulisum.

My broody cochin girls fuss a little when I check their nests but they don't peck me. I had to check my last broody girl every day since her sister kept laying eggs in her nest. I marked "Louise's" eggs with an "X" and every day I found an extra, unmarked egg in there I removed it. I learned this from somebody on this thread, I think it was Stephanie.
Finally Louise was able to hatch her 5th and final egg this Saturday and is now running around the pen. She is now tamer, hopping up on the pen roost to get picked up for pets like Rudy, her roo. Rudy is my tamest bird. Louise used to be the least tame of my partridges.

Up by Pawhuska there is a big sign in front of one of the ranches there, it says. If your bull gets in with our cows you can pick up your steer in the morning.

When we picked up cattle there it was in a pasture that was 4 miles square, that is each leg was 4 miles long. Dogs and horses were the order of the day and they often drove cattle from pasture to pasture.

I dont remember if it was me but I will gladly take the blame for something smart or good!
