So glad some of you got some rain...We need an old-fashioned toad soaker here in central Oklahoma. Moved cows off a good pasture because the pond is getting too low. Other ponds are getting low too.

Roger had a good night last night..slept two 4 hour blocks of time. Got a new round at 7:15 am...hope this helps him rest while we go check the herds, feed and do chores...Bless my brother-in-law. We see the doctor tomorrow for a post surgery check-up.

Looks like the wild Canadian geese pair is going to nest on one of our ponds. Lucy and Goosey have been walking the 1/4 mile between each pond and nibbling grass and then coming for their scratch in the tire feeder. The little crawdad pond is dry and they use it as a base.

poor little guinea girl - it was her first nite out with rain- she looked like a drowned rat this morning, and she is following the other guineas, so i think she is slowly getting integrated with them-

Tennessee Okie checking in this morning! We are waiting on the rain here too. Hopeing the storms don't get as bad as they did in the midwest states!
Took another chick from under the hatching broody this morning,this hatch was only about half. I may have been greedy and put to many under her.
Mover a bunch of bigger chicks out of the brooder into a hutch outside this morning. They were the biggest and I was afraid trampling was going to start happening.
We need a little rain here,but spring is pretty now,dofwoods in full bloom,redbuds starting to fade,Phlox in full bloom,a pretty time of the year.
Well I have to run to the bank ,I mean feed store,wish it was all going in the bank I'd proably be a lot richer!lol. I just hate it evrytime its a little higher. and then the tax is just ridiculous too!See you all later,have a great morning,and remember Cock-a- Doodle -Doo!
